IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE ENTERING THE YARD. By signing this document, I acknowledge that a self-service automotive salvage yard contains inherent hazards and that I am voluntarily entering and participating at my own risk.
1. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

2. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS
I understand that entering and working in the Grab A Part salvage yard may involve risks including, without limitation: sharp metal, broken glass, unstable or damaged vehicles, vehicles or parts falling or shifting, hydraulic or mechanical components under pressure, batteries and electrical systems, fluids and chemicals, fuel, oil, coolant, airbags, tires and tire pressure, tools, lifting equipment, forklifts and other machinery, uneven or slippery ground, weather conditions, insects or animals, fire, explosions, and the acts or omissions of other customers or persons on the premises. I voluntarily assume these risks.
3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY : INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW, I EXPRESSLY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS GRAB A PART, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MY ENTRY INTO OR ACTIVITIES AT THE YARD, INCLUDING CLAIMS ALLEGING THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF GRAB A PART OR ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OR REPRESENTATIVES. This release is intended to satisfy the express-negligence and conspicuousness requirements applicable under Texas law to the extent those requirements apply. Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived under Texas law.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & SAFETY RULES
I agree to: (1) follow all posted signs, employee instructions, and yard rules; (2) wear required personal protective equipment, including appropriate eye protection and closed-toe footwear; (3) use only tools and equipment permitted by Grab A Part; (4) never work beneath a vehicle unless it has been properly supported by equipment approved by Grab A Part; (5) never enter restricted areas; (6) not operate forklifts, loaders, tow equipment, or other machinery unless expressly authorized; (7) not smoke, use alcohol, or use illegal drugs on the premises; (8) immediately report unsafe conditions or injuries to staff; and (9) inspect parts and vehicles before removing or handling them.
5. VEHICLE & PART REMOVAL
I understand that vehicles in a self-service yard may be damaged, partially dismantled, improperly supported, or otherwise unsafe. I am responsible for determining whether a vehicle or part is safe for me to approach, remove, carry, or transport. I will not remove a part in a manner that creates a danger to myself, other customers, employees, or property. Grab A Part may refuse entry or require me to leave for failure to follow safety rules.
6. PERSONAL PROPERTY
I understand that I am responsible for my own tools, personal property, vehicle, and belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Grab A Part from claims for loss or damage to personal property arising from my presence or activities at the yard, except to the extent such release is prohibited by law.
7. EMERGENCY / MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
If I am injured or become ill while on the premises, I authorize Grab A Part personnel to contact emergency services when reasonably necessary. I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses and that this authorization does not create an obligation for Grab A Part to provide medical treatment.
8. MINORS & AGE REQUIREMENT
I understand that Grab A Part may establish and enforce minimum age requirements for entry and may require a parent or legal guardian to sign additional documentation for any person under 18. No minor may enter or participate unless expressly permitted by Grab A Part's written rules.
9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I have read this entire agreement, understand that it is a legal release and assumption of risk, and sign it voluntarily. I have had the opportunity to ask questions before signing. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Admission for each visit
I understand that entry costs $1 per person for each visit, including every return visit. The fee covers admission for that visit only; parts are purchased separately. Paying the entry fee does not replace completing the required waiver or following yard rules.
